At getrecommended.io, we provide an AI Engine Optimisation (AEO) diagnostic tool. This Refund Policy explains your rights under Australian Consumer Law and our approach to refunds for our paid reports.
Digital Products and Instant Delivery
Our paid report ($149 AUD) is a digital product delivered instantly upon successful payment. Because the report is generated immediately and contains proprietary analysis of AI recommendations, we generally do not offer refunds once the report has been delivered.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
When We Offer Refunds
We will provide a full refund if:
- The scan fails to complete due to a technical error on our end.
- The report delivered is significantly different from what was described.
- The report contains critical errors that render it unusable for its intended purpose.
When We Do Not Offer Refunds
We do not offer refunds if:
- You simply change your mind after purchasing the report.
- You are dissatisfied with the AI recommendations (e.g., your business is not recommended by the AI engines). The tool accurately reports the current state of AI search results, which we do not control.
- You made a mistake when entering your business details or search terms.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under this policy, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase at hello@getrecommended.io. Include your order details and a description of the issue. We will review your request and respond promptly.
